The follow up to Modern Warfare is here and it is great but not without issues. The gunplay and gameplay are as good as ever although the plot is slightly dull, and the odd twist fails to liven it up much. Where the issues really lie is in terms of the level design. Call of Duty always includes some mechanically different levels to introduce some variation but here they all go on for far too long and you’ll quickly yearn to get back to the more traditional levels. Less quantity and more quality would have helped raise the bar here.
